Coaching Experience: Pambianchi was named Tech's interim head softball coach for the 2006 school year on Aug. 23. She came to Tech last summer as an assistant coach before the promotion. Pambianchi began her coaching career as an assistant softball coach at Monticello High School after a standout four-year playing career at UAM. While an assistant at MHS, helped lead the school to two district championships.
Playing Experience: As a player at UAM, she was a four-year letterwinner, three-year All-GSC performer and a Second-Team All-NFCA South Region selection as a senior. She finished her career with the Cotton Blossoms in the school's top-ten all-time in numerous statistical categories, including being the school's all-time leader in stolen bases and stolen base attempts and was also a member of three GSC West Division championship squads and helped UAM to a 154-69-1 record during her playing career.
Personal: Pambianchi is 31 years old and was born on July, 6, 1980, in McGehee, Ark. She is daughter of Bobbie and the late Robert Pambianchi.
At Tech: Pambianchi recently completed her sixth season at the helm of the Golden Suns softball program. In 2011, Pambianchi led Tech to a 34-19 overall record and a school record 23 GSC victories. Tech took home its third GSC West Division title in the last four years in 2011 and advanced to the GSC Tournament for the third time in the last four years and also won a school-best five games at the GSC Crossover Tournament and recorded the first-ever four-game sweep at Arkansas-Monticello in the Cotton Blossoms history. In her fifth season at Tech in 2010, Pambianchi led the Golden Suns to a 22-26 overall record and a 12-18 mark in the GSC West Division standings and in 2009, she led the Golden Suns to its second consecutive GSC West Division title and its second straight runner-up finish at the GSC Tournament. Along the way, Tech won a school-record 42 games and ending the season winning 13 of its final 15 games. In 2008, Pambianchi led Tech to what was then a school-record 41 wins and school's first-ever GSC West Division title in softball. In addition, Tech finished as runners-up in its first-ever appearance at the 2008 GSC Tournament. On the season, Tech finished with a 41-17 overall record and a 20-9 mark in the GSC. The 41-17 record marked an NCAA Division II best 24-game improvement from the 2007 season when the Golden Suns finished with a 12-35 mark. Along with the team's success in 2008, she also coached the program's first-ever GSC Player of the Year and Pitcher of the Year as Dana Aldrich took home both honors from the league and the Golden Suns had a school-record six First-Team All-GSC West Division selections. In her six years at Tech, Pambianchi has recorded a 173-143 overall record.
Randall Trout

Coaching Experience: Before coming to Tech, Trout spent the past three summers serving as the head coach of the American Freedom 18-and-Under Gold Fastpitch Club Team, which is based in Allen, Texas. The American Freedom 18 Gold was a showcase team that travels around the country and plays in exposure softball events. During Trout's three-year tenure with American Freedom, the team produced 16 college softball players, including several NCAA Division I signees. Prior to moving to Texas, Trout, who is a native of Carmi, Ill., spent three years (2003-05) as the head softball coach at Norris City Omaha Enfield High School in Norris City, Ill. In his three years at NCOE, Trout compiled a 56-45 overall record and led the 2003 team to a Regional, Sectional and Super-Sectional Championship. The 2003 squad finished with a 30-7 record and helped Trout be named the Class A Coach of the Year by the Illinois High School Coaches' Association. He was also a junior varsity basketball coach and softball coach at Booth Elementary. Additionally, Trout also spent two summers (2003-04) as the head coach of the Southern Force 18-and-Under 'A' Team and was an assistant on the Southern Force's 2004 ASA 18-And-Under 'Gold' National Championship team. He was also the head coach of the Southern Illinois Firestixx in 2002. Trout began his coaching career in 1996 with the New Harmony School District in New Harmony, Ind., as he was the school's head baseball coach and was the junior high girls basketball and baseball coach. After his two years at New Harmony, Trout spent the 2000-01 school year as a volunteer assistant boys basketball and softball coach at Carmi White County High School and in 2001-02, he was a volunteer assistant girls basketball and softball coach, along with being the middle school softball coach at Carmi White County High School.
Playing Experience: Trout earned two letters in baseball as a pitcher at Olney Central Community College in Olney, Ill. Prior to playing at Olney Central, Trout was a four-year lettermen as a baseball pitcher at Carmi White County High School and he was a two-time All-District and All-State honoree.
Personal: Trout is 35 years old and was born October 7, 1975, in Kankakee, Ill. He is married to the former Alyson Turney of New Harmony, Ind., and the couple are the parents of a son, Ryan Easton (2).
At Tech: Trout will be entering his first season at Tech in 2011-12 and is responsible for working with the Golden Sun hitters and outfielders, along with recruiting and on-the-field coaching.
Tiphani Moon
Graduate Assistant Softball Coach

Playing Experience: Moon has joined the Golden Suns program as a graduate assistant coach for the 2011 season after a four-year standout career as a first baseman for the Golden Suns (2008-11). In her four years at Tech, Moon holds nearly every single career and single-season offensive record. In her career, she played in a school record 222 games and made 221 career starts. She was the only Golden Sun softball player to ever be named a four-time All-Conference selection, including being a three-time First-Team All-Gulf South Conference selection and she was a Second-Team Daktronics All-South region honoree in 2010. She finished her career holding school records for slugging percentage (.577), at-bats (673), hits (222), runs scored (115), RBIs (140), home runs (36), doubles (52), total bases (388) and walks (71) and holds single-season school marks for doubles (16 in 2008), total bases (115 in 2009), walks (27 in 2009) and is tied for the single-season school mark in games played (63 in 2009). She helped lead to three GSC West Division titles (2008, 2009 & 2011) and two GSC Tournament runner-up finishes (2008 and 2009). Moon, who is a native of Euless, Texas, finished her career as a .330 hitter, which is third on the school's all-time list. She was named a member of the GSC Softball Academic Honor Roll in 2008 and holds the school's single-game records for home runs (2 vs. both Delta State and West Georgia in 2011).
Personal: Moon is 22 years old and was born in Jan. 9, 1989, in Evanston, Ill. She is the daughter of Charles Moon and Mary Hogan and her younger brother, Tyler (19), is a redshirt freshman on the Wonder Boys football team.
